The owners of this turn-of-the-century four bedroom, two and one half bath home asked for a total remodel to better fit their lifestyles.

The kitchen and breakfast spaces were redesigned to take advantage of views and a roof cavity was opened to create a more spacious feeling. Skylights and a window wall of French doors allows natural light to flood the space. A novel cantilevered wall cabinet was designed to be supported by the exposed roof structural members and an island cabinet/counter lends sophistication to the kitchen.

All three levels of the home were remodeled with newly planned spaces, interior finishes, and fireplaces. At the exterior, the roof over two upper bedrooms was raised to make the rooms more comfortable. All windows, doors, exterior cladding, and roofing were replaced and a new two-car garage was added.
