A growing family wished to expand and modernize their five bedroom, two and one half bath Victorian.

The master plan featured an expanded kitchen, mud room, and family room along with improvements to the master bedroom suite, laundry closet, and bath. The design also included revisions to the existing roof lines, rear patio, and a new entry portico.

The design and detailing blended the client’s desire for a traditional esthetic while incorporating up-to-date amenities and construction. Particular attention was paid to built-in casework detailing and trim occurring throughout the project.

An audiophile grade entertainment center was installed into the custom family room casework. The project also benefited from the owners interior design abilities. Finally, all areas affected were brought up to latest Building Code seismic requirements.
